Ein wichtiges Ziel, das uns alle vereint ist der Frieden. Denn in einer kriegerischen Welt ist das Leben aller bedroht. Doch gerade hat der Haushaltsausschuss wieder einen neuen Rekordetat für deutsche Rüstungsausgaben beschlossen. 46,9 Milliarden Euro sind demnach in 2021 für das Militär vorgesehen. Zählt man die verdeckten Ausgaben aus anderen Haushalten hinzu, sind es voraussichtlich sogar mehr als 50 Milliarden Euro. Für diese Summe werden zudem Mittel aus dem Corona-Konjunkturpakt abgezweigt.
Ebenfalls aufhorchen lassen die jüngsten Äußerungen der Grünen-Chefin Annalena Baerbock, die eine Stärkung der Bundeswehr und gezielte Investitionen für sie fordert. Zudem denkt Baerbock laut darüber nach, dass Militäreinsätze ohne UN-Mandat möglich sein sollten. Mit solchen Thesen wollen sich die Grünen offensichtlich einmal mehr für eine Koalition mit der CDU andienen.
Wenn Deutschland wieder auf Aufrüstung schaltet, müssen wir umso lauter eine konsequente Friedenspolitik einfordern. Am 5. September rief ein breites Bündnis von Friedensinitiativen und Gewerkschaften auf zum bundesweiten Aktionstag „Abrüsten statt Aufrüsten“. Auch Aufstehen Aktivistinnen und Aktivisten waren an mehreren Orten dabei.

Teilnehmer/-innen der Initiative OLDIES FOR FUTURE, des Versöhnungsbundes, der Initiative OFFENe HEIDe und der Sammlungsbewegung AUFSTEHEN/Sachsen-Anhalt/Region Magdeburg führten gemeinsam von 11 bis 14 Uhr in der Landeshauptstadt Magdeburg, Breiter Weg/Julius-Bremer-Straße eine Mahnwache (Teil des bundesweiten Aktionstages) durch.

Wir folgten dem Aufruf des Netzwerkes Friedenskooperative und der Gewerkschaften und forderten:

„Abrüsten statt Aufrüsten – Für eine konsequente Entspannungspolitik“

Weg vom Rüstungswahn! (Bundeshaushalt 2021 –> rund 50 Milliarden EURO für Rüstung geplant)
Investitionen in Soziales, Gesundheit, Umweltschutz, Wissenschaft, Bildung!
Andere Prioritäten im Bundeshaushalt setzen!

Der Standort war gut gewählt, sodass wir trotz Corona-Pandemie viele Menschen erreichen konnten (mit entsprechendem Abstand zu Personen und mit Nase-Mund-Schutz, Desinfektionsmittel und entsprechend präpariertem Mikrofon).

So konnten wir den zahlreichen Menschen im individuellen Straßenverkehr und auch Teilnehmern/-innen am Öffentlichen Personennahverkehr (ÖPNV) in geeigneter Form unsere Informationen und Aussagen nahebringen und ihnen per Mikrofon unsere Standpunkte erläutern.

aufstehen Berlin beteiligte sich heute am bundesweiten Aktionstag für Abrüstung. aufstehen Schöneberg war mit Unterstützern aus Spandau, Wilmersdorf und Tempelhof mit einem Infotisch und Informationsmaterial auf dem Kaiser-Wilhelm-Platz in Schöneberg, um dagegen zu protestieren – übrigens genau an der Stelle, wo bis zum 2. Weltkrieg das Rathaus Schöneberg stand.

Es gab viele Gespräche mit PassantInnen, Unterschriften wurden gesammelt und am Ende waren alle Flyer verteilt. Viele von uns fuhren danach zum Bundeskanzleramt, um dort an der „großen“ Kundgebung mit anschließender Menschenkette teilzunehmen.

Im Rahmen der bundesweiten dezentralen Aktionen „Abrüsten statt Aufrüsten“ sammelten sich am 4.12. die Bremer Friedensaktivisten, darunter auch Aufstehen Bremen, auf dem Bremer Marktplatz, um dort und auch in dessen näherer Umgebung mit Fahnen, frisch gefertigten Schildern und Flyern gegen die kriegstreiberische NATO-Aufrüstungspolitik der Bundesrepublik zu demonstrieren, wie auch für eine Politik der Entspannung, besonders zu unserem natürlichen Handelspartner Russland. In der kommenden 2. Dezemberwoche 2020 soll der Bundeshaushalt im Deutschen Bundestag verabschiedet werden, mit einem „Verteidigungsetat“ von mehr als 46 Milliarden Euro. Nach den NATO-Kriterien, die auch Rüstungsausgaben in anderen Etatposten berücksichtigen, belaufen sich die tatsächlichen Kosten für das Militär bereits auf über 50 Milliarden Euro. Stoppt diesen Wahnsinn einer Regierung die unverfroren gegen das eigene Volk regiert. Die große Mehrheit der Menschen hier wollen keinen Krieg und keine Eskalation und haben die Kriegspropaganda satt. Wir wollen in Frieden mit unseren Nachbarn leben.
